Children's Books

The Children's Agriculture Book series is an ongoing effort by Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom to promote books for elementary-age children that accurately portray modern agriculture.

The books are appropriate for grades K-6 and have been selected for their accuracy, readability, and overall appeal to kids. Price list and order form>>

BOOK OF THE YEAR

The Super Soybean by Raymond Bial, Albert Whitman & Company, 2007. Readers will learn about one of the world's most important plants. This photo-essay includes botanical information, history and a good description of the planting and harvesting of soybeans. (grades 3-6)
