Project: Career Day Resource Kits
Freedom FFA and FFA Alumni – in conjunction with the Wisconsin Ag Education Workforce Development Council and Wisconsin Farm Bureau – Ag in the Classroom Program
Objective:
Develop a Career Day Resource Kit that FFA and FFA Alumni members can use while organizing a local Career Day. Working with the Wisconsin Ag Education Workforce Development Council, kits would be developed by our Half-Time Conference in January and participants would be taught how to use the resources in organizing a Career Day for students as well as the general public. The ultimate goal is to increase awareness for all ages about agricultural careers. The goal of reaching 50 chapters/communities in the workshop was accomplished at the January 11, 2013 workshop conducted by Darlene Arneson, Wisconsin Farm Bureau-Ag in the Classroom Coordinator.
