Summer Bus Tour – July 27-28, 2020 – Green County
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions associated with it, Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom is postponing this event.
Join Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom for a fun and exciting two-day adventure visiting various Wisconsin farms, processors and agricultural businesses. Classroom teachers, home school parents, 4-H and extension staff, volunteers and others involved in agricultural literacy are welcome to participate.
This year’s stops include Wegmueller Farm, Emmi Roth Kase, GC Seeds, Hawks Mill Winery, National Historic Cheesemaking Center, Larson Acres, Inc., Blackhawk Technical College and Kuhn North America.
- Space is limited to 50 participants. Your spot is secured with registration and payment. A commitment to attending both days and riding on the bus is required. Some venues may have attire and photo restrictions. There is a $75 registration fee which includes two noon and one evening meal, bus cost, entry fees and snacks. Hotel expenses and additional purchases at venues are on your own. Hotel information can be found at https://monroechamber.org/visit-monroe/. The bus will depart/return from Blackhawk Technical College each day. Parking is available for all participants at BTC for those who don’t stay overnight in Monroe. Graduate credits are available through Concordia University Wisconsin. Watch for registration materials!
