Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom in conjunction with the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation offers grants of up to $500 to FFA Chapters and collaborating groups, for grades PK-12 peer-led agriculture literacy lessons and projects.

Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom in conjunction with the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation offers grants of up to $500 to formal and non-formal educators and/or groups sponsoring programs or projects that promote agricultural literacy.

Each year the Ag in the Classroom program recognizes an outstanding teacher or teaching team for their commitment to furthering agricultural literacy efforts. The goal of teaching youth about agriculture is to help students acquire knowledge to make informed decisions and support wise agricultural policies and programs. To be eligible for the award, teachers must incorporate agricultural concepts into non-agricultural curriculum and must be currently engaged in classroom instruction. Certified agriculture education teachers are not eligible. Past state winners and certified agriculture education teachers are not eligible.

Nominate a volunteer who is leading efforts to grow student agriculture education awareness and understanding of the many ways in which agriculture impacts our lives every day.
