Agriculture Immersion Experience for Educators




Join Wisconsin Agriculture in the Classroom and fellow educators to experience Wisconsin agriculture while learning new ways to engage your students with fruit-ful ideas and lessons to teach social studies, science and ELA.
When: Thursday, July 13 | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where: The Nature Center at Point Beach State Park, Two Rivers, Wisconsin
Agenda:
9:00 a.m. Registration at Point Beach State Park Lodge
9:30 a.m. Tour Wilfert Family Farm,
Noon-ish Lunch at Point Beach State Park Nature Center
12:45 p.m. *Lake Michigan Watershed with Point Beach Staff
1:45 p.m. The Scoop on Strawberries lesson kits and activities
3:00 p.m. Wrap-up, Door Prizes and Hit the Road!
*Ranger presentation is subject to change based on availability of staff on day of event.
Cost: $20
Cost includes park fees, tour transportation, lunch and lesson materials and resources valued at over $50.
Registration is limited to 30 teachers and closes on July 7.
