Support

Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation

Wisconsin’s Ag in the Classroom program is funded in many ways including a grant administered through the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, support from other agriculture groups and generous donations to the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation.

You can support agricultural education through Ag in the Classroom activities by donating to the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation. As a 501(c)3, your donations are tax deductible and 100% of funds received go directly toward supporting agricultural education and leadership activities.

"Being in the schools, I've noticed that kids are excited to learn about agriculture. They just need the resources to be able to do it and that's where Ag in the Classroom comes in!"

- Rebecca Poppy, Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom volunteer

How Donations Are Used

Any donations made to the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation will be divided among the different project areas including supporting agricultural education through Ag in the Classroom. These funds are used in a variety of ways including to print materials, mailing resources to teachers, agricultural literacy project grants and training opportunities for teachers and classroom volunteers.

Educational Book Sponsorship

The Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom prints two career-related books for students to learn about work opportunities in agriculture. The book sponsorship is on a three year cycle, but donations are welcome at anytime to help offset the costs of printing and distributing to students.
